The Man In The Moon Aint A Lady

The first trick photography of man reaching the Moon was:
'Voyage dans la Lune, Le/A Trip to the Moon' (France, 1902), the screen's first science fiction story, was a 14 minute masterpiece (nearly one reel in length (about 825 feet)), created by imaginative French director and Jedi Master Magician Georges Melies (1861-1938) in his version of the Jules Verne story. The silent film's plot, a light-hearted satire criticizing the conservative scientific community of its time, was inspired by Jules Verne's From the Earth to the Moon (1865).

Some propose that the USA created a sequel:

The following are exerpts from:
The Apollo Moon Landings Are Science Fiction

The Space Shuttle, so far, has killed fourteen people, merely trying to attain an orbit about two hundred fifty miles above the Earth. How is it then, that a third of a century ago, with less computing power in the entire rocket than in a present day twenty dollar Wal-Mart watch, NASA claims to have gone 100,000% farther, six different times between 1969 and 1972, landing on another celestial body and then returning, without ever killing anyone? How could they have powered air conditioning in two hundred fifty degree heat for three days with batteries? Why is the "second round" of "returning" to the moon estimated to be no earlier than half a century after the first? (Would there be a fifty-year span between the first and second trips across the Atlantic in an airplane?)

If the moon landings were, as we believe, a government deception, then George Orwell's comment, "whoever controls the past, controls the future" is a scary wakeup call to insist that our government reform to the truthfulness of our founding father "who could not tell a lie." Otherwise, the powers that be will continue their addiction to deception and we all will be worse off for it.

How does this relate to stop-motion animation production you ask?

Let me tie it in...

I first heard about the faking and fakers from fellow animator and Jedi Animation Master of the First Order Kim Blanchette

Now I have been called alot of things at times ... even crazy, but honestly when my buddy Kim started giving me the lowdown on the faked lunar landings while we were working on 'Disaster - The Movie' I figured he had been in his airstream out back smoking something or he was crazy as a shithouse rat...only he doesn't, and well any of us who play with dolls for a living have to be looked at with some skepticism by Joe Q.Public... M'kay.

Now after viewing more facts and photo's...call me crazy...but I am beginning to wonder...just wonder, if its just all a plot taken from Georges Melies.
Here are some rebutles:

What do you think?

Ya,

I don't know why there is no sound. I remember Kim showing them to us at Disaster! with sound. Perhaps DarkStriders video lacked it originally...
