!!!!!!!!!!!ANIMATION NERD ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!
Others may just wanna look at the perty pictures...
Hot glue is fundamental in stop-motion production. Unless you are animating a simulation of an earthquake you want everything in frame to stay the heck where its put! Hence the ritualistically hot gluing of EVERYTHING...Minus puppets. This can lead to the prop and set department hating your guts, or you hating your own guts if you are the set and prop department...But I digress.
90% Isopropal Alcohol (DON'T DRINK IT!!!) is the magic bullet. 95% of the time it will release hot glue from painted surfaces without damage to the surface.
Just apply it liberally...Like drench it baby...Let sit for 30 sec or so, then carefully pry at the edges of the prop till it POPS off!
Yes this BLOG is chock FULL of useless information to the general public. Neither Dick Private nor the Nortons, do in any way indorse Albertsons Rubbing Alcohol...even though they give you 91% unstead of the standard 90%...For a NEW LOW PRICE !

I know times are difficult and budgets are tight....
but this whole product placement thing is getting way out of hand. That bottle of alcohol dosen't even look like the other bar patrons.
