Animation Tips & Tricks 02

!!!!!!!!!!!ANOTHER ANIMATION NERD ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!
To create the illusion of whipped cream being shot out onto a puppets ...face, I used a clay extruder (thank you Sir Foamy Jones) which is not unlike a cookie molder my pal Mark makes his famous cookies with, or like a play-dough fun factory. PHOTO
You choose the pattern you wish to create, pop it onto the nose of the extruder, fill the extruder with cream colored Scupty (firmer than clay) which has a little sticky wax mixed in so it will stay in place, and squeeze out the fake whipped cream.
PHOTO
And Voila ! Each frame add a little more to the end of the "stream" of whipped cream and animagically you have... A drunk chick with whipped cream all over her face in the Moral Orel Dive Bar!!!

That's fascinating. I've always been intrigued by claymation/stop-motion. Blows my mind how you do that stuff.

Thanks for posting it. If I ever do a stop-motion project, I'll think of you guys. Looking forward to seeing more!
